Vanessa & Alan’s New Orleans Ursuline Convent Wedding Photography is almost indescribable.
Four Wedding Locations
Their wedding day took place at four different venues. The ceremony was held at St. Louis Cathedral. The couple then second lined with their guests to Beauregard Keyes House for a cocktail hour. At their cocktail hour, they were served many varieties of passed hors d’oeuvres, charcuterie displays, and entertained by string quartets. After, everyone was escorted across the street to Old Ursuline Convent Museum, where the reception took place. The after party took place at Orpheum Theater, as well as the downstairs speak-easy Double Dealer cocktail & jazz lounge.
Getting Ready Location
The home that Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt owned in New Orleans is now Vanessa & Alan’s home, which is where they got ready and did first look. We also did majority of their portraits there as well. Their French Quarter chateau home is just stunning!
Reception
For their reception, they tented the outside portion with a stunning air-conditioned tent, with multiple rooms sectioned for partying and dinner. Food was provided by Pigeon Catering. They were served some of the best stationed options, heavy passed hors d’oeuvres, and much more. Their guests came from all over the world and were given the true New Orleans experience, from a food and entertainment perspective.
After Party
After the reception, guests then second lined again to the after party. The after party at Orpheum Theater, as well as the downstairs speak-easy, Double Dealer cocktail & jazz lounge, was quite the hit. Insane entertainment was going on upstairs at the same time as top notch broadway performances, burlesque shows, and much more were happening underground in the Double Dealer jazz lounge. Guests had never seen this level of entertainment at once, and especially for a wedding. They were greeted with showgirls for cocktails. Y’all, entertainment for this wedding was indescribable.
Entertainment
Entertainment for their wedding was provided by Elan Artists. They had so many bands playing throughout the reception and the afterparty. To say that guests were WOW-ed, is an understatement.
