On site we keep things calm and clear so people look natural and feel taken care of. Whether it is a corporate production, event, or a wedding weekend, the result is the same: a great day, project, and work that tells your story- beautifully. 

About Mateo

Matt “Mateo” Diaz is the Creative Director of Mateo & Company, originally from New Orleans and now in Dallas. On every project he either photographs personally or leads a tailored team of photographers and cinematographers. He sets the creative vision- look, feel, and final edit, while guiding logistics and the production schedule so the experience stays smooth for clients and guests. Starting his photo journey in 2008 and finding his lane in weddings in 2012, he has grown the studio into a luxury brand trusted for high-value weddings, corporate events, and destination programs. His work has appeared in outlets like People, Bravo, The New York Times, Style Me Pretty, Carats & Cake, Entertainment Tonight, and PartySlate, and he is known for an authentic, community-minded spirit that often brings people together for good causes.

Why “Mateo & Co.” 
“Mateo” honors his late abuela, who called him Mateo (& her Mateito) and taught him to aim higher. She was one of his biggest cheerleaders and still is. The name keeps her spirit close. “& Co.” is for our team approach, because none of this happens alone.

The Team

Our people are the difference- photographers, cinematographers, stylists, and creative assistants who enjoy working together. For weddings, a dedicated Creative Coordinator/Stylist keeps our couples camera ready and the day flowing. For corporate productions & events, we scale the right crew and creative leadership to fit the scope, bringing in exactly what is needed so everything feels effortless.
