Anna, from New Orleans, and Garret, from Lafayette, met in the summer of 2016 when Garrett was training Anna in the ICU as a new nurse. Anna & Garrett New Orleans Chicory Wedding was a special day for the couple and their loved ones.
Although the two were friends first, it wasn’t until a couple of years that they went on their first date. Their first year dating was long distance, while Garrett was in Dallas for school.
Now, the couple both work as nurses. They enjoy being goofy with each other, and love all things Disney. They chose to vacation at Disney’s Aulani Resort in Hawaii for their honeymoon.
Kori Lecompte was the wedding planner that helped the Anna & Garrett New Orleans Chicory Wedding come together. They got married in St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and had their reception at The Chicory.
Anna’s mother helped her get ready at the Loews Hotel before she had a sweet first look for her eight bridesmaids. Their hair and makeup was done by Brittany Collette from Salon 411.
We then took some great photos of the bridal party in Fulton Alley before the ceremony. The bride’s stunning dress was from Town and Country and her shoes were Badgley Mischka.
Before her big day, we took some lovely bridal photos of Anna at Race & Religious. We were able to capture some incredible shots of the bride amidst a monsoon that came through New Orleans that day.
All of the florals were done by Leaf & Petal.
The gorgeous decor was by Firefly Ambiance.
The reception was enjoyed by all with live music by Snapper and the Fishsticks.
Anna & Garrett cut their delicious cake from Gambino’s Bakery before making an exit back to Fulton Alley lead by a joyous second line.
