Sapphira & Don New Orleans Civic Theater Wedding had the coolest rehearsal dinner/welcome party and wedding. So much fun and culture. We loved being a part of this special moment for Sapphira & Don’s life. For their welcome party, they had a Sangeet, Henna offerings, and some delicious Indian food. The welcome party was hosted at Capulet in the Bywater of New Orleans.
Because the couple comes from two different cultural backgrounds, they took advantage of splitting the events to showcase both. The wedding was more of a traditional approach, with a very New Orleans spin on it. The welcome party and wedding were designed beautifully by Spanish Oak Events.
The wedding ceremony was at the Immaculate Conception and the reception took place at The Civic Theater. After the ceremony, the couple paraded in a second line to their reception. There is nothing more fun than a second line through the streets, with a private police escort and people yelling for you.
