AACWP Vendi’s 2025 Dallas Awards Gala

We had the honor of capturing the AACWP Vendi’s 2025 Dallas Awards Gala through photography and The Mateo Booth experience. This event is one of the most sought-after celebrations in the Dallas wedding and event industry, recognizing the very best in each vendor category. We were proud to be nominated as one of the best photographers in Dallas this year, making the evening even more special for our team.

The theme for 2025 was Year 3000, bringing a futuristic twist to every detail — from the décor to the entertainment. Here’s a look inside this incredible night.

Arrival

Guests were greeted with immersive entertainment, as futuristic models interacted and passed out items to instantly set the tone. A sleek and modern drink station awaited at the entrance, offering themed beverages that matched the Year 3000 concept. The escalator showcased a stunning balloon installation, leading guests into the main space. Bright, colorful florals added an unexpected pop of vibrancy, while a beauty station provided guests with quick touch-ups before the night began.

Main Event

The ballroom design was nothing short of spectacular, with next-level lighting techniques that elevated the futuristic theme. A dramatic light cone illuminated the speaker podium, creating a captivating focal point. Tables were dressed in vibrant colors with intricate, forward-thinking designs, paired with silver Year 3000 menus for a cohesive look. The food display was equally stunning, offering a visual feast before guests even took their first bite.

After Party

Following the awards ceremony, guests were led into the after-party space by a mobile DJ — a high-energy transition that kept the excitement flowing. The after-party room was an all-white canvas brought to life with dynamic lighting. The band, dressed entirely in white, added to the monochromatic, futuristic vibe. The atmosphere was electric, with non-stop dancing and vibrant, fun energy filling the night.

The Mateo Booth

Our Mateo Booth activation embraced the futuristic theme with a sleek black and silver backdrop, accented by modern lighting. Guests loved stepping into this immersive setup to capture fun, editorial-quality portraits that doubled as keepsakes from the evening. Guests also received every photo from The Mateo Booth, & throughout the entire event, instantly to their phone as a personalized gallery with our FACIAL RECOGNITION TECHNOLOGY.
