Uriel & Jen New Orleans Tomas Bistro Wedding

Checkout the highlights from Uriel & Jen’s beautiful wedding!

First and foremost, it was an honor shooting this sweet loving fun couple, Uriel & Jen. These two made taking pictures so much fun and effortless. We started off getting ready at The Mercantile Hotel, where we gathered some beautiful detailed shots of the bride and groom. Our goal is to capture the day in an organic style, capturing moments of the bridesmaids and groomsmen getting ready and having fun. This is part of the day most don’t see and some of the sweetest and touching moments to capture on camera. One of the moving moments of this day, was when Uriel & Jen opened the letters the two wrote to one another. Capturing these two gentle hearted lovers was a special moment and one I know he and she will forever cherish.

After the two were done getting ready with their friends and family, we then setup the FIRST LOOK! Which was at Calcasieu Private Dining in Warehouse District, where we had our team grab the bride and groom and set the scene in a beautiful open room in the restaurant. This moment takes the entire team to be on point to be able to execute and capture this memory perfectly. As you can see in some of the pictures below, the first look filled this room with a contagious energy that put a smile on everyone’s face.

We then headed out into the city to take group photos with the wedding party. This group is a fun one to be around, both the groomsmen and bridesmaids had a good time being models for the day. These two groups resembled how fun and happy Uriel and Jen are. The guys brought that fun goofy energy to the pictures, and really made the photos tell more of a story. We captured some aesthetically pleasing photos of the girls in front of a unique New Orleans style building, as you can see below.

The ceremony was held at the Our Lady Immaculate Conception, a gorgeous church here in New Orleans. NOLA Floral did an amazing job with their floral décor throughout the church and for the bridal party! Shortly after the two tied the knot, we then were guided in style by the Kinfolk Brass Band to Tomas Bistro; where everyone let their hair down and busted out some dance moves. As you can see in the pictures below, Spanish Oak Events did an absolute stunning job with the design at Tomas Bistro. From the smallest details on the tables, the cake and up to the beautiful drapes hanging from the ceiling. Everyone involved did an outstanding job to make this special day possible.
