Erika & Olivia’s Same-Sex New Orleans Chicory Wedding is one that we are certainly proud, and honored, to be a part of. The two of them are so beautiful and even more beautiful together. Their wedding took place at The Chicory New Orleans Venue in the Warehouse District of New Orleans.
The couple met in high school, but as friends only at the time. They did not start dating until college. At the time, it was Olivia’s freshman year and Erika’s sophomore year at Spring Hill College. Fast forward years later, here they are!
They would say that they are more homebodies, who love to snuggle and cuddle on the weekends. The two of them love to laugh and have a good time in life.
The beautiful florals that were all over their ceremony and reception, were designed by Herbivore Floral Design. The beautiful candle lighting was designed and provided by Luminous Events .
The cake was designed by Zoe’s bakery . We just love how the cake table served as an incredible backdrop, dripping with florals.
Olivia’s dress is from Town and Country on St. Charles in New Orleans and Olivia’s dress was made by a family friend, named Perla. Wow, both these dresses were just EVERYTHING. Talk about show-stopping dresses!
We did their first look in the historic City Park New Orleans, as well as some portraits. Because Olivia’s dress was just so stunning, with the perfect amount of drama, they wanted to make sure we captured her reaction to the back and the front. This first look could not have gone anymore perfect. The golden hour light was just breathtaking that day.
Erika & Olivia’s Same-Sex New Orleans Chicory Wedding Day was such a beautiful day to be a part of. They have the perfect bond with one another and are the perfect balance for each other. We loved being a part of this celebration!
