Wayne came to us asking to help him put together a surprise engagement for his girlfriend Ashley. We were soo ecstatic at the idea! We had a fantastic time planning Wayne & Ashley Elms Mansion Surprise Engagement.
The plan was simple: Wayne would tell Ashley that she would be getting a private tour of the historic Elms Mansion on St. Charles Avenue. Afterwards, Wayne told Ashley that he would take her to a nice restaurant for a special date night. Little did she know, Wayne had planned an elaborate proposal at The Elms Mansion, with a surprise intimate dinner to follow. We were there to capture Wayne & Ashley Elms Mansion Surprise Engagement!
Ashely arrived shortly after 6:30 p.m. not suspecting a thing. When she arrived at the mansion, she was seated in one of the rooms while Wayne had to “use the restroom.” She then received a note from Wayne that read “Meet me in the ‘White Room’”. Still not suspecting much, Ashely ventured to the White Room, where she found Wayne waiting for her in front of the fireplace kneeling down on one knee.
She was so surprised and elated at the effort that Wayne had put into this elaborate proposal. She said yes, and the newly-engaged couple was led outside to the courtyard. Ashley was surprised to find a candle-lit dinner under the gazebo accompanied by music from T-Ray the Violinist.
Our approach for Wayne & Ashley Elms Mansion Surprise Engagement was ‘beachy coastal meets classic New Orleans’. The florals, candles, drape, and chandelier were all provided by Fat Cat Flowers. The linens, tableware, and chairs were provided by Explore Element.
What was to follow was a beautiful and romantic evening at The Elms Mansion for this happy couple.
We are sure that they will remember this moment for the rest of their lives together. Congratulations to Wayne and Ashley!
